Peer Teaching: Wiki

Hi everyone!
We hope the peer teaching session last Monday proved to be helpful on the appreciation and use of wiki.
Please kindly provide some feedback with regards to the session so that we can all learn and improve.
Your comments are important to us.
Thank you!!! =)

Cheers!

P.S. As the grouping is, there is coincidentally one wiki expert in each group. So use them wisely and treat them nicely.

  1. Hi guys,

I think the lesson was excellent. It was clear, concise and very innovative. The videos were an interesting addition to the presentation as it took away the monotony of just listening to someone speak to us.

The story as an introduction however didn’t sit well with me. Not to say that it was bad, its just that, I feel, with a proper procedure email would have worked out fine and there wouldn’t be a need for a wiki. :) Again its just MY PERSONAL feelings.

My only really criticism would have to be about the prezi presentation. I think that prezi is an amazing tool and is really novel. I however have to say that it was a little disorientating for me with all the spinning and zooming in and out. It would have been great for a more graphic presentation but I think for the wikis something more structured would have been better? The demonstrations and the class activity was very useful for getting us familiar with using the wikis.

All in all, I think it was a fantastic lesson. You guys really made using the wikis look easy. Well done!! =D Again no offense was intended in this comment!!
